What: "The Peaceburgh Transformational Leadership Tribute." This inspiring Tribute and Community Ceremony will 1) Acknowledge 27 community leaders working to create unity in 10 domains of unity in action.  2) Extend these 10 "pathways of unity in action" that the Honorees’  work represents, as opportunities for the audience's own choices for unity in action; and 3) Solidify the idea of "Peaceburgh" as an expression of a transformed  city,  a city that is committed to embodying unity-conscious in many evolving directions. Why: This Tribute will be a breath of fresh air in a world so out of balance….As we face our world crises in the environment, politics and economy , instead of focusing on cynicism or despair, this event invites us to see possibilities for creating unity in action, that will bring more balance to this fragmented world. The Honorees are all transformational leaders who have been connected to thehost, Vikki Hanchin, through their shared inspiration of the Mayan Elders’ 2007 visit here. That visit confirmed that  Pittsburgh’s 3 Rivers are connected to their ancient  Mayan 2012 prophetic teachings-- of a promised return to unity. “Unity” is a timely vision…These Honorees’ Transformational Leadership is inspired by their commitment to unity. This Tribute also acknowledges that inspired commitment to unity in action is a possibility for everyone, and can transform the world.
