Former Pittsburgher Lisa Ferraro and her partner Erkia Luckett will be visiting us again in August. During their last visit this spring they sat down for a lively conversation about music, spirit, heart, nature, consciousness and the connections between them. The two have a unique musical and spiritual bond. When they sing, a startlingly powerful dual voice of Divine Love is created, and all who listen are transformed.

On this podcast they describe their performance last December at the Parliament of World Religions, and perform two songs live, including “Awe” the title track of their third release, due in August. The harmonies literally give chills, and Erika’s guitar work on Awe is simply astonishing.

They’ll be performing at Unity Center at the Sunday service August 22nd and the Wednesday evening meditation August 25th, and Lisa headlines the 100th anniversary celebration of Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece, Fallingwater, accompanied by jazz legend, Roger Humphries on drums and three more stellar musicians on Saturday, Aug 28.
